Damnit!! The show i like to watch so much was the Winter Olympics in Torino ( or Turin in italian) Luckily I watched the closing ceremony at 3am in the morning!! Crazy to think so as either most ppl will be sleeping by then but I am 1 true fan of the olympics..
Furthermore, this is the first tym Channel5 broadcastthe winter olympics.. I haf known bout the winter olympics since the first tym i watch the olympic show at age 10..
Anyway, the ceremony is different is different than the one in Athens 2 yrs ago.. They mix the ceremony wif a show by the "Cirque Italiano"( almost the same as Cirque de Soleil )..
It was fun to watch they perform as in the middle of the night, im very hard to be pleased.. They do the "YMCA" song and the audience were doin it!! Very exciting..
The prove that i watch it is wif this pic frm my phone camera(above).. I haf to sneak into my room as the rest of my family haf slept peacefully( actually I closed every bedroom doors to minimise noise.. LOL.. )
After the peformance by the circus and in the middle of the closing ceremony, i watched as they announced that the will past the olympic flag to Canada, the next country to host the 21st Winter Olympics.. After that, Avril Lavinge came out and sang a song ( can't remember as it was very late liao!! ) as she is from Canada..
Then after the olympic flame is put out, Ricky Martin came out and sang the world cup song in 1998 ( very old-school though ) in italian to commemorate the closing ceremony of the 20th Winter Olympic..
Blablabla, and after he sang the song, then came the finale, Fireworks!!.. Lol.. The fireworks was astonishing.. I was lyk drooling, not!! But2 the show was a great show to watch..
I hope that the next Olympic games at Beijing will be greater than this if they could pull that off..
