Sypnosis: After the announcement by Dullindal, the Archangel decides to make it's move to ORB due to the chance that ORB might be targeted since it is still under alliance with the Earth Alliance Federation. On their way, a ZAFT Lesseps class begins attacking them with their Babi units and BaCOU units. The Archangel attempts to escape as Kira launches out to stop the enemy mobile suits.
The Minerva is also sent on a mission to attack the Archangel. They see the proceeding battle with their thermo sensors. Sensing danger to the Archangel, the ORB officers ask to launch. Murrue denies their permission. Kira begins having trouble attacking so many units at a time, but slowly begins disabling them. Talia and Athrun get into a heated argument about attacking the Archangel. Talia argues harshly that the Archangel is not their ally.
Talia gets called back towards the bridge. Shin is seen in the pilot lounge looking towards Rey. They seem to have a plan up their sleeves. The Minerva goes to condition red. Shin proceeds to prepare in the Impulse. Shin launches up his Impulse pieces, forming Force Impulse. The Minerva proceeds with it's bombardment on the Archangel. Impulse and Freedom begin exchanging fire. The Minerva appears infront of the Archangel and begins firing it's cannons. Talia asks Meyrin to patch through to the Archangel. Talia asks the Archangel to surrender so they wouldn't have to destroy it.
Murrue asks Miriallia to patch in to the Minerva. Arthur and Talia recognize her from Morgenroete where she disgusied herself as Maria Vernes. Murrue denies the request. Archangel suddenly comes under heavy bombardment from the Lesseps class. Impulse is also handling Freedom easily. He displays some top-notch tactics such as throwing his Shield, and shooting at it to deflect at Freedom, raming his Chest Flyer into Freedom, and detaching his Chest and Leg fliers to dodge an attack. The Minerva begins charging up their Tanhausser to fire at the Archangel.
Shin has managed to drive Kira into a body of water. He calls for the Sword Silohette from the Minerva. He then grabs the Beam Boomerang and throws it in his Force mode. Kira dodges but Shin suddenly grabs a "Excalibur" Anti-Ship sword and proceeds to fly straight into Freedom. Kira quickly sets up his shield to dodge but the Sword penetrates it and it goes through his torso. Following, Freedom has a large explosion, blowing the Minerva away with a sea of rain. Athrun stares helplessly at the monitor displaying the battle. As the smoke clears up Shin begins laughing in the cockpit of Impulse. Athrun stares in disbelief and screams "Kira!" as the camera leaves the ocean filled with the destroyed pieces of Freedom.
Review: Wow, the episode finally comes! The destruction of Freedom! Is it me, or is Shin freaky at the end of the episode? O_O
